For those of you who haven't been here before, I'm a freelance artist/author living in Florida (but I left my heart in Chicago ;_; ...). I'm a staff writer for Sequential Tart. I've also been a contributing writer to Newtype USA, as well as contributed to Andy Mangels' book, Animation on DVD, from Stone Bridge Press. Artistically, I've done panels for the Panel2Panel webcomic Gun Street Girl, as well as spot illustrations for Dragonlance. I'm the creator of the fantasy universe New Avalon. I'm currently working on a novel for another fantasy verse I'm creating. A short story of mine, "Chase", was just published as the title story in a homoerotic anthology, Chase and Other Stories, from The Wapshott Press.
I worked as a bookseller for Borders Group, Inc for 7 years, so I guess you could say books have always been my life!
Besides my professional stuff, I write a lot of fanfiction (fiction based on other people's universes.) I like to sing (and I sing fairly well, or so I'm told), but get terrible stage fright, even among just friends. *sigh* So much for being a performer! LOL. Hafta settle for acting through art and writing... and this is my stage! I'm also pagan and a wolf therianthrope/Fur -- you'll find nods to these interests in much of my work.
