Extreme Ghostbusters is one of my all-time favorite shows! The stories were well-written, funny and touching, the characters well-developed, and the series well-animated. I admit I had reservations about the introduction of a new set of characters into one of my favorite franchises, but Jeff Kline (producer of the popular Men In Black animated series) pulled it off beautifully. In fact, if they hadn't had such a squabble over the cost of doing a GB3, I think it would have made a great movie idea for #3, or maybe #4: the introduction of the XGB, with the OGB handing the riens over to them. Well, at least there was a crossover episode in XGB.

It's really too bad that, due to its premature cancellation, they never really brought Kylie & Eduardo's budding love-hate relationship to a head. Yes, the XGB has a "shipper"-style following, made up of fans wanted to see "Eduardo & Kylie" developed (as well as Egon and Janine), and whose members have done precisely that in their fanfiction.
