I ran a panel on creating Custom Stargate My Little Ponies again this year, at Dragon*Con 2008! (I aslo did it in 2007). It was a full class -- sixteen people (we had originally planned ony 10!) Many thanks to my friends Trish, Kimberly, and Nick for helping out! At the Don S Davis Memorial Auction for the American Heart Association, we auctioned off MLPs autographed by various Stargate celebs! Included in the auction were:
... my custom of Mars the dog, of A Dog's Breakfast, signed by actor/director David Hewlett and actress Kate Hewlett, who brought in $110 ...
... and ...
... which I believe brought in something like $650 ... and this Stargate Pony (including packaging!), made by Pierre Bernard Jr (who has been an extra on SG-1):
... which brought in $350, I believe. ... Cliff Simon (SG-1's Ba'al) also did one, which he coated in cancun sand, coloured the mane blue, and covered with shells. (Sorry, I don't have a pic of it -- I never even got to see it!)
Altogether, the Star Gate Offworld Fandom track's auction (which included many other cool items) brought in over $11,000 -- more than all the other fandom tracks *combined*!!

My custom MLP, Golden Snitch. For the three of you out there who haven't read the books or seen the movie, it's inspired by a ball from a sport called Quidditch in the Harry Potter series. You can find more Harry Potter-themed MLPs (including a pic with Golden Snitch in it) in my Fanworks section.
