XGB was an animated series that took place story-wise 12 years after the end of its animated predecessor, The Real Ghostbusters (henceforth RGB), which in turn was a continuation of the first Ghostbusters movie. At the start of XGB, the original Ghostbusters (OGB) had disbanded. Egon was living alone in the firehouse with Slimer, and had taken up teaching at the local university. The only students to show up at his class -- Eduardo, Kylie, Roland, and Garrett -- ended up having to become the new Ghostbusters (under his direction) when subway workers broke a seal underground, releasing a flood of new ghosts into New York. Janine also found herself back in his life, acting as both secratary and surrogate mother for the team. While the show was definitely a different animal from RGB, it made plenty of nods to fans of the old series; it featured a few ghosts from RBG, as well as had the rest of the OGB show up for a guest appearance at the end of it's only season.
Rather than trying to replace the old series, this toon simply carried on the torch for new generations to enjoy, while inviting older fans along for the ride. Alas, while it was well-loved by at least some lucky souls that managed to find out about it, due at least in part to poor advertising and a lousy time slot, it didn't survive for a second season (though thankfully it had a whopping 40 eps in its first!)

1) You don't have to have a site to join (and even if you do, it doesn't have to be Ghostbuster-related ...), but you do have to be an XGB Ghosthead! ^_~
2) Some of the questions on the sign-up form are optional, but you MUST give a name (it can be a screenname, but if you use your real name, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE give a last initial, to differentiate between you and other fans who might have the same first name) and country, and GIVE ME YOUR EMAIL, so I can reach you if necessary. I don't sell the emails, and they don't have to be linked to your entry, but you *must* still SUBMIT it. The FULL email (what good does just the beginning or the end do me?) If you don't, you won't be listed. It's that simple. Sorry if I sound harsh, but I've been getting a lot of incomplete submissions. ...
3) If you submit a site, it cannot contain racist, hate, or pornoraphic material. It can, however, be non-Ghostbsuters related and still be linked in the list, if you wish it.
4) Please TELL me if you want your email address linked (otherwise it won't be). Email addys are protected from spambots by javascript.
And also, this isn't a rule, but it would be very nice if you would place a code on your site.
